Many travel agencies can book a hotel. Very few can tell you which room has the best sunrise view or which hidden path leads to the most quiet waterfall. At Traverzy, our expertise isn’t gathered from brochures—it’s gathered from years of dust on our shoes and miles on the road.
Our story began at Kelaniya University, where we studied Tourism Management. While we were learning the gold standards of global hospitality in the classroom, we were spending our weekends and holidays exploring the island together.
From those early student days to our professional careers, we have traveled to almost every village, peak, and coastline in Sri Lanka. We’ve shared tea with locals in the central highlands and tracked leopards in the deep south. This isn’t just a business for us; it’s a lifelong passion for our home.
We didn’t just start this agency after graduating. We spent the last 10 years each working at the highest levels of Sri Lankan tourism:
Inside the Hotels: We’ve worked on the front lines of luxury resorts and boutique stays, so we know exactly what “good service” should look like.
Inside the Agencies: We’ve managed complex logistics for international travelers, ensuring that every transfer is on time and every itinerary is seamless.
We know the travelers’ expectations because we have spent a decade meeting them
Because we’ve been there ourselves, we offer something a search engine can’t:
| What We Know | Why It Benefits You |
| The “Real” Locations | We skip the tourist traps and show you the authentic Sri Lanka. |
| Hotel Relationships | Because we worked in hotels, we know the staff and the standards personally. |
| Logistics Expertise | We know the roads, the train schedules, and the best times to travel to avoid crowds. |
| University-Backed | Our advice is grounded in professional tourism management principles. |
“We started this journey as classmates with a shared dream. Today, we invite you to join that journey. We don’t just want to be your travel agents; we want to be your local guides to the island we love.”
